Heat Exchanger Cooling Tanks

Originally developed for the dairy industry as a primary cooling tank to cool milk, our cooling tanks offer an efficient and cost-effective way to improve the efficiency of the heat exchanger in the milking shed heat exchange process.

The cooling process is created through the evaporation of water circulating over a number of spaced timber battens inside the top of the tank. As the air is drawn upwards over the circulating water, the water temperature is lowered.

This application is another example of the versatility and adaptability of the Timbertank.
